The HydroXcel JYT203-H1 is a metal-hydride hydrogen storage canister designed for low-pressure solid-state storage. It stores 1.19 kg of hydrogen at a filling pressure of 3.5 MPa in a 20 L canister. The published unit measures 203 mm in diameter by 1,000 mm long and weighs 90 kg. HydroXcel positions the canister for fuel-cell vehicles and stationary power applications where low-pressure storage, modular installation and direct compatibility with fuel-cell hydrogen requirements are preferred over conventional high-pressure cylinders.
