Add to compare

The EC22 / EC22 D is an electrochemical gas sensor designed for measuring gas concentrations with a diffusion-based measuring gas supply. It features a 2.2 graphic display, 3 function buttons, and supports both analogue and digital outputs (4-20mA, 0.2-1mA, and RS-485). The device operates within a wide temperature range (-20°C to +50°C) and has an IP54 protection class. It is suitable for various industrial and environmental monitoring applications. The sensor is designed for reliable and accurate gas measurement, with a readiness delay of 5 seconds plus a 20-90-second sensor run-in phase. It operates on a 24V DC power supply with a power consumption range of 10-48mA depending on the features (display, horn, etc.).

Use Cases

  • Typically used in hydrogen and related industrial applications

Capabilities

  • Continuous gas concentration measurement using electrochemical sensors with diffusion sampling.
  • Supports analog current outputs (4–20 mA or 0.2–1 mA) for control system integration.
  • Digital communication via RS-485 (Modbus protocol) with configurable baud rates up to 38,400.
  • Operable within –20 to +50 °C, 20–90 % r.H., and 80–120 kPa, depending on sensor type.
