The 850 MULTI-RANGE FUEL CELL TEST SYSTEM is a fully automated, turnkey test system designed for the operation and measurement of single-cell Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM), Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM), and Direct Methanol Fuel Cells (DMFC). It features an enhanced capacity 125 Amp electronic load, enabling precise and versatile testing. The system includes advanced diagnostics with an integrated Frequency Response Analyzer (FRA) for Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and High-Frequency Resistance (HFR) measurements, a potentiostat for in-situ Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV) experiments, and auto multigas selection for poisoning and hydrogen crossover experiments. It supports unattended operation with smart fuel management, automatic filling/draining of humidifiers, and embedded firmware-level safety management. The intuitive controls are provided by FuelCell5® software for user-friendly operation and ZView® for impedance analysis and equivalent circuit modeling. The system is designed for reliability, safety, and efficiency, making it ideal for both research and industrial applications.

Scribner, LLC Scribner, LLC is a U.S. electrochemical instrumentation company based in North Carolina and known for test systems, measurement electronics and analysis software used by academic, government and industrial research laboratories. The company developed from electrochemical research expertise and has built a portfolio around fuel cells, electrolyzers, batteries, redox-flow cells, membrane testing, impedance spectroscopy and corrosion research. Hydrogen is central to several of its product families: Scribner manufactures fuel-cell test stations for PEM and related cell chemistries and electrolyzer test systems for detailed characterization of single cells and small stacks. Its equipment can integrate power supplies, electronic loads, potentiostats, impedance analysis, gas and water management, product-flow measurement and crossover monitoring, allowing developers to study efficiency, degradation and operating limits under controlled conditions. Within the hydrogen value chain, Scribner is therefore an R&D and validation equipment supplier supporting membrane, catalyst, MEA, stack and electrolyzer developers that require precise electrochemical testing rather than a producer of commercial hydrogen systems.
