  • BRIGHT develops and implements modular H₂ conditioning and control systems that deliver hydrogen to the test specimen or process point with precisely controlled mass flow, pressure, and temperature.
  • The solution is designed for integration into existing test bench and plant infrastructures and ensures a safe, reproducible supply, including automation and interface connectivity.
  • The challenge is that, in test bench applications, hydrogen mass flow and temperature must be provided with tight tolerances and very short settling times of less than 10 seconds to ensure safe and reproducible operating conditions.
  • In addition, an ATEX/Ex-compliant safety concept as well as space-critical integrations, e.g., modular/compact designs, must be taken into account.
  • Our solution uses preconditioning via a circulation line for temperature control and a control architecture with two parallel control valves for pre-setting and rapid fine-tuning to quickly and stably manage setpoint changes.
  • Temperature control is multi-stage, including preheating and post-regulation close to the test specimen, and integration into SCADA/control systems is implemented via Profinet with defined data transfer.
