SOFC DFC Stack Module 100W

  • Hydrogen-powered DFC cells are based on an all-ceramic design with active layers integrated symmetrically on both sides - thus increasing the active surface area while reducing the cell's dimensions.
  • The reversibility allows the cell to operate not only in electricity generation mode, but also in hydrogen production (electrolysis) mode.

Features

  • 100W SOFC stack in unique DFC technology
  • Thermal enclosure with fuel and air preheater integrated
  • Simple gas and electrical connections
  • Quick startup

Applications

  • Laboratory testing
  • Research and development
  • SOFC technology demonstrators

Key Technical Specifications

What is DFC technology?

  • The double-sided solid-oxide fuel cells (DFC) developed at HydrogenTech are based on an all-ceramic design with active layers integrated symmetrically on both sides - thus increasing the active surface area while reducing the cell's overall dimensions.
  • The elimination of metallic interconnects used in traditional SOFC cells eliminates the problem of material compatibility at nominal operating temperatures of 600-800 ⁰C.

HydrogenTech Sp. z o.o.

HydrogenTech is a research and development startup from Krakow, Poland, which is engaged in the production and development of solid oxide fuel cells. Our main potential differentiator among the competition is our internationally patent-protected high-temperature SOFC DFC bilateral reversible fuel cells. Hydrogen-powered DFC cells are based on an all-ceramic design with active layers integrated symmetrically on both sides - thus increasing the active surface area while reducing the cell's dimensions. The reversibility allows the cell to operate not only in electricity generation mode, but also in hydrogen production (electrolysis) mode.
