Add to compare

The SBC 782 H is a safety device, also known as a slam shut valve, designed to quickly interrupt gas flow when pressure reaches a pre-set calibration value. It is specifically suitable for 100% hydrogen applications and is primarily used in high-pressure transmission systems and medium-pressure gas distribution networks. The device offers over pressure shut-off, under pressure shut-off, internal bypass, a push button for tripping test, top entry, compact dimensions, easy maintenance, remote tripping option, and limit switch option. It is designed according to the European standard EN 14382 and is certified under the European Directive 2014/68/EU (PED). The valve ensures bubble-tight leakage, surpassing ANSI/FCI 70-3 standards.

Use Cases

  • High-pressure transmission systems
  • Medium pressure gas distribution networks
  • 100% hydrogen applications
  • Gas compression / booster stations
  • Gas reverse-flow
  • District stations
  • H₂ liquefaction plants
  • Heavy industry
  • Medium/small industry
