The Differential Pressure Transmitter Series PD-39X is a high-precision device that measures differential pressure indirectly using two absolute pressure sensors. This method offers significant advantages over conventional differential pressure measurement techniques, such as the Series PD-10L, particularly in applications where the differential pressure exceeds 5% of the maximum standard pressure range. The transmitter is designed to be robust against unbalanced overloading and features a 16-bit A/D converter for exceptional accuracy, with a measurement accuracy of 0.05%FS across the entire pressure and temperature range. It also includes microprocessor-based technology for mathematical error compensation, eliminating non-linearities and temperature dependencies. The transmitter supports a digital RS485 interface for readout, calibration, and configuration, and offers analog outputs for flow measurements. It is customizable and suitable for various industrial applications, with features such as IP65 protection and a stainless steel 316L housing.

Use Cases

  • Suitable for Hydrogen applications

Capabilities

  • Readout of pressure and temperature values for both sensors
  • Calibration of zero points and amplification
  • Scaling of the analog output to different pressure ranges or units
  • Configuration settings such as measurement rate, low-pass filter, bus address
  • Readout of information such as serial number, compensated pressure and temperature ranges
KELLER Pressure AG KELLER Pressure AG, a Swiss company founded by Hannes W. Keller with over 40 years of experience in pressure measurement, has developed a dedicated hydrogen product line offering accurate, reliable pressure sensors specifically optimized for H2 applications, leveraging isolated piezoresistive pressure sensor technology invented by the company's founder. The company's hydrogen pressure instruments -- including the 23SX-H2 and 33X-Ei-H2 series relative pressure transmitters -- feature low embrittlement rates due to increased nickel content in the stainless steel used, combined with gold-plated diaphragms that reduce hydrogen diffusion to a minimum (as hydrogen can hardly penetrate the gold layer), all built as fully welded sensors without internal seals for maximum reliability across typical hydrogen application pressure ranges of 0-2 bar to 0-1000 bar. KELLER's hydrogen sensor portfolio is compatible with the EC79 standard for automotive applications, with the LEO-Record-H2 and intrinsically safe LEO-Record-Ei-H2 digital pressure gauges providing long service life and high accuracy for hydrogen generation and production, transportation, hydrogen refueling station monitoring, and hydrogen containment/storage applications, connectable via RS485 interface for configuration and data logging. Serving customers including hydrogen-powered racing applications and off-grid hydrogen fuel/generator managed service providers like Hydrologiq, KELLER Pressure continues exhibiting its 'Swiss Made' precision pressure sensor technology at major hydrogen industry trade shows, positioning the company's decades of piezoresistive measurement expertise to serve the growing hydrogen mobility, production, and storage infrastructure market.
