Hydrogen Hydraulic Compressor - DDE Series 

  • Hydraulic compressors designed for the compression of hydrogen, biomethane, and natural gas.
  • The DDE Series uses a hydraulic transmission system with one hydraulic cylinder and two gas cylinders.
  • A steel rod connects the oil piston with two gas pistons, allowing the pressure of the oil piston to move the connecting rod and compress gas.
  • The compressor design has only one moving part: the piston rod to which the oil and gas pistons are fixed.
  • Low-speed operation enables a high service life of up to 20 years.
  • Wear parts are self-lubricating PTFE-based components with an average lifetime of up to 5,000 operating hours.
  • The gas and hydraulic sections are separated by a long distance piece (LDP) and two sets of seals to prevent oil contamination during gas compression.
  • The DDE Series is suitable for compression phases from hydrogen generators and grid injection applications.
  • The low speed and wide pressure range contribute to a low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
