LOCTITE 574 - Gasketing Sealant for Hydrogen Application

  • LOCTITE 574 is an orange, thixotropic, medium-strength, anaerobic, one-component sealant used for sealing close-fitting rigid metal faces and flanges.
  • It cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly.
  • It is typically used as a form-in-place gasket on rigid flanged connections such as gearbox and engine casings.
  • The thixotropic behavior reduces migration of liquid product after application.
