Angstrom Advanced Inc. is a U.S. manufacturer of laboratory and industrial gas generation equipment, including a range of hydrogen generators based on water electrolysis. Its HGH series generators use electrolyzing/separating pool technology and SPE (solid polymer electrolyte) electrodes to produce hydrogen up to 99.999% purity for laboratory, industrial, and hydrogen station applications, and the company has also developed containerized, patented electrolyzer systems (up to 2.5 MW) designed to adapt efficiently to intermittent renewable power from wind and solar. Angstrom Advanced developed what it describes as the world's first all-in-one hydrogen refueler and has received Massachusetts Clean Energy Center funding for a renewable-energy-based hydrogen generation and fuel cell demonstration project. The company serves markets spanning chemical processing, hydrogen fueling, microgrids, and scientific instrumentation.
