Rely, formally established in 2023-2024 as a joint venture between Technip Energies (60% ownership) and John Cockerill (40% ownership) and headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, is an independent company dedicated to integrated green hydrogen and Power-to-X (PtX) solutions, born from the commitment to make green hydrogen and Power-to-X a feasible low-carbon alternative for industrial-scale applications by breaking industrial and cost barriers associated with large-scale green hydrogen. The company offers end-to-end large-scale solutions from pre-Final Investment Decision (pre-FID) services -- including technical and financial advisory -- through proprietary technologies, project execution, and operation and maintenance, developing a standardized portfolio of solutions for projects of 100MW capacity and above by leveraging the technology and engineering expertise of its parent companies, targeting revenues exceeding EUR 1 billion by 2030. Rely secured a capacity reservation and supply contract for pressurized alkaline electrolyzers with John Cockerill Hydrogen (a subsidiary of John Cockerill, in which Rely holds a 10% minority stake), and launched Clear100+, a configurable productized plant for large-scale green hydrogen production featuring standardized, pre-assembled components (including process treatment units) to reduce costs, with an optimized footprint (22,000 square meters) and reduced delivery time (around 30 months). Led by CEO Damien Eyries (from Technip Energies) and CTO Jean Jouet (from John Cockerill), and benefiting from access to more than 200 hydrogen specialists from inception, Rely continues bridging the 'green electron-molecule gap' by developing integrated solutions targeting an important reduction in Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) for industrial and utility-scale green hydrogen and Power-to-X projects worldwide.
