The SenerTec Dachs 5.5 is a combined heat and power unit for larger residential buildings and commercial properties. Depending on fuel and configuration, SenerTec publishes electrical output of approximately 5.0 to 5.5 kW and thermal output of 11.7 to 14.7 kW. The Dachs 5.5 Gen2 is TÜV-certified for operation with natural gas containing up to 20 vol.% hydrogen. SenerTec also identifies the current 5.5 Gen2 as H2-ready for future conversion to 100% hydrogen operation using a manufacturer conversion kit when the local gas network is converted.

SenerTec Kraft-Wärme-Energiesysteme GmbH is a German manufacturer of combined heat and power systems sold under the Dachs brand. Current Dachs CHP units generate electricity and useful heat on site and can operate with natural gas containing up to 20 vol.% hydrogen. SenerTec also documents future 100% hydrogen conversion paths for selected current Dachs models using manufacturer conversion kits.
