HyFaB - Open R&D platform for the industrialization of fuel cell production at ZSW in Ulm (Germany)

  • The HyFaB Research Factory at ZSW in Ulm, Germany, provides a unique infrastructure for fuel cell production research and PEM fuel cell development.
  • Companies and research partners can use HyFaB to develop, test and optimize fuel cell stack designs, components and manufacturing processes – independently of specific manufacturers.
  • A key element is the HyFaB Generic Fuel Cell Stack, an open development platform enabling the evaluation of MEAs, bipolar plates, coatings, sealing concepts and stack assembly technologies.
