The Angstrom Advanced GTL-500 combines hydrogen, nitrogen, and air generation in a single laboratory gas-supply unit. For this model, hydrogen and nitrogen output are each 0–500 ml/min, air output is 0–5 L/min, and the published purity for both hydrogen and nitrogen is 99.999%. The unit uses three-stage air purification, an output-pressure range of 0–0.5 MPa with a factory default of 0.5 ±0.01 MPa, and an AC power supply of 220 V/50 Hz or 110 V/60 Hz. Maximum published power consumption is 450 W. The product is designed as a compact, portable source for users who need several laboratory gases from one instrument, with multi-stage protective devices supporting operation. It can therefore supply gas streams for analytical and laboratory systems that require hydrogen, nitrogen, and air either as separate services or as part of a combined instrument setup.

Use Cases

  • Laboratory systems needing hydrogen, nitrogen, and air
  • Analytical instruments requiring multiple gas supplies
  • Bench testing with integrated multi-gas generation
  • Laboratories replacing separate hydrogen, nitrogen, and air generators

Capabilities

  • Generate hydrogen at 0–500 ml/min
  • Deliver 99.999% stated hydrogen and nitrogen purity
  • Purify air through a three-stage process
  • Regulate output pressure up to 0.5 MPa
  • Operate from 220 V/50 Hz or 110 V/60 Hz AC power
Angstrom Advanced Inc. Angstrom Advanced Inc. is a U.S. manufacturer of laboratory and industrial gas generation equipment, including a range of hydrogen generators based on water electrolysis. Its HGH series generators use electrolyzing/separating pool technology and SPE (solid polymer electrolyte) electrodes to produce hydrogen up to 99.999% purity for laboratory, industrial, and hydrogen station applications, and the company has also developed containerized, patented electrolyzer systems (up to 2.5 MW) designed to adapt efficiently to intermittent renewable power from wind and solar. Angstrom Advanced developed what it describes as the world's first all-in-one hydrogen refueler and has received Massachusetts Clean Energy Center funding for a renewable-energy-based hydrogen generation and fuel cell demonstration project. The company serves markets spanning chemical processing, hydrogen fueling, microgrids, and scientific instrumentation.
